Your "Anime needs variety" series is just awesome! Thanks for posting that! I think that you really captured every body type, and that is totally cool!
You can also build up relationships with artists through short stories. Trying to find someone down with a thousand page epic right away is a daunting thing if there are no previous examples of comics made by you.
I can't see any writing in your gallery for one thing. Any information what your project is about would probably help since you can't really gain interest by its existence alone. A project described just as having been worked at for eight years and is very long isn't exactly apetizing.
